Synopsis
In this edge-of-your-seat thriller, Marcus struggles with parasomnia, a rare sleepwalking disorder. After Marcus wakes up with blood on his hands and a knife at his side, he is startled to hear that a close friend has been found stabbed to death. Marcus frantically tries to put the pieces together -- could he have murdered his friend in his sleep to hide a dark secret between them?
The police close in as Marcus investigates his own nocturnal activities, desperate to figure out what happens after he goes to sleep. His journey to uncover the truth leads him to a shocking revelation.
Philip Winchester (Crusoe, Flyboys), Lacey Chabert (Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Mean Girls), Abigail Spencer (Mad Men), TIM DRAXL (Day One), Kelly Overton (Tekken), Michael Badalucco (The Practice), Beth Grant (Little Miss Sunshine) and Tony Hale (Arrested Development) star in this provocative exploration of the human psyche.
Making his feature directorial debut, filmmaker Allen Wolf has crafted IN MY SLEEP into a taut psychological thriller with a poignant human drama at its core. IN MY SLEEP screened at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival where it won the Audience Award. The film also won the Golden Kahuna Award from the Honolulu Film Festival. The screenplay was a semifinalist in the Brass Brad competition, the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Phoenix Film Festival.
